underground tour led 

by WY State Park guides

of the Boulder Choke

Cave System in Sinks Canyon State Park (Lander)! (Space is limited! RSVP as soon as you are able so we can save your spot!)

• Saturday, March 14, 2026, 12:00 pm (tour)

• 9:15am: Carpool meets at the Old Library in Worland (1019 Coburn Ave) (alternately, meet us at the state park at 11:30)

(covers tour, snacks, and lunch in town)

Duration: 2-3 hours

Notes:

• Participants must be

  • at least 10 years old

  • physically able to squat, crawl and maneuver tight spaces​

• Boulder Choke Cave is an undeveloped cave system, meaning there will be no established pathways, railings, or mounted lights. Participants will be navigating tight spaces and will need to be able to crawl over a 20ft distance. Please consider your own physical ability before signing up.

-Clothing for the weather
-Water
-Hiking boots or sturdy athletic shoes

-Provided by the state park: coveralls, gloves, helmets and headlamps
