Matching-Grant Fundraising Campaign for a New Trailer!

For 16 years, The En Gedi Project has connected families and children to the outdoors through life-changing wilderness experiences, helping participants build skills, friendships, memories, and faith as they encounter God in His creation.
We provide outdoor experiences at little or no cost so that everyone—regardless of income—can participate in these transformative experiences. With no paid staff and low overhead, we rely on generous donors to keep these adventures accessible.

For over a decade, our trailer has carried the gear and supplies needed to support up to 40 participants for a week in the wilderness. But at over 35 years old—with a rusting frame, deteriorating homemade plywood enclosure, and under-rated leaf springs—it’s reached the end of its road.
Thanks to a generous $10,000 matching grant from the Thomas and Ellen Hogue Family Foundation, every dollar you give toward the purchase of a new trailer will be matched. That means:
-
Your $100 gift becomes $200
-
Your $250 gift becomes $500
-
Every contribution, large or small, brings us closer to our $20,000 goal
With a new, purpose-built, heavy-duty, all-steel trailer, we’ll be able to:
• Transport gear safely and reliably for decades to come
• Reduce repair costs and trip delays
• Expand our capacity to serve more children and families
Would you consider making a tax-deductible gift to help us purchase this much-needed trailer? Your generosity will directly impact the lives of the children and families we serve here in the Basin and beyond, ensuring they have the opportunity to connect with God, nature, and each other in meaningful ways.

Support the En Gedi Project
We are committed to making our trips as accessible as possible, which means that the requested contributions from participants are set at or below actual cost. No one is turned away for lack of funds—we offer scholarships to any child or family in need.
Your donation helps make this possible. It allows youth and families who might otherwise miss out to experience the joy, beauty, and transformation that come from time in God’s creation. In addition, your support helps us repair, replace, and upgrade essential gear—ensuring that our trips remain safe, well-outfitted, and welcoming to all.
You’re welcome to designate how you’d like your gift to be used, whether toward scholarships, equipment, or wherever it's most needed.
We’re so grateful for your generosity. We couldn’t do this without the faithful support of people like you. Thank you for helping us share God’s creation—and the Good News—with others.
Checks can be made out to The En Gedi Project or paypal to engediproject@gmail.com.
