A demanding high-altitude expedition into California’s eastern Sierra, centered on Red Lake and an optional attempt on 14,000+ foot Split Mountain. Expect steep climbing, loose talus, snow and ice traverse, route-finding, long days, and a serious summit objective. Prior backpacking experience, thriving on challenge, and strong fitness are recommended. $375 requested contribution. Contact us for link-up and return logistics from eastern California.
