Our most challenging Wyoming trip of the season: a longer wilderness approach to the turquoise Sawtooth Lakes, followed by an optional summit attempt on Blacktooth Mountain. Expect rugged off-trail travel, steep talus or snow, scrambling, and long days. Strong fitness and previous backpacking experience are recommended. $300 requested contribution ($85 for Bighorn Basin residents). Starting and ending in Worland, WY; summit attempt depends on conditions.
